Mae Sai and Tachileik Clean up after Flooding

MAE SAI – Chiang Rai Authorities and Thai vendors at the Mae Sai – Tachileik border market area conducted street-cleaning activities in order to resume daily business operations after recent flooding.
Governor Boonsong Techamaneesatit had instructed officials to survey the damages and assist locals that have been affected by the recent flooding.
Military personnel and local administrative officials of Mae Sai district have cleaned shops and roads in preparation for the return to business activities as the area recovers from inundation.
Myanmar officials on the Tachileik side have also organized similar activities to return the area to normality.
