Lakers Beat Raptors With Impressive Anthony Davis Feat

(CTN News) – There was no doubt that Anthony Davis, who scored 41 points in the Lakers’ 132-131 victory over the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday, had the most impact.

During the thrilling NBA match between the LA Lakers and the Golden State Warriors, there were 23 lead changes during the game, but by the end of the game, it had been Davis who ensured the Lakers’ victory with a stunning performance.

It was a high-scoring final period for the eight-time All-Star, which saw him score 20 points, including 11 free throws out of 11, as he helped the Lakers win their second consecutive game.

As a result of this victory, the Lakers improved their record to 19-19 for the season which puts them in 10th place in the Western Conference – following their sensational Derby victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday.

As Davis emerged from the game relieved, he said, “For us, this is a big win and we are very pleased with it.” For you, you can make the game better, but we are very happy with it.”

In addition to Davis, other members of the line-up assisted him in the scoring process – something that has been a problem for the side in recent matches due to a lack of variety in their attack.

It was LeBron James who bagged 22 points while five other players from the Los Angeles Lakers also reached double digits in scoring.

I was very pleased with the work done by all our guys after the meeting,” said Davis to me after the meeting had concluded.

The attention that will be paid to me and LeBron is going to be high, and that is going to make it difficult for the other players to get open shots and play open basketball.

As long as we keep feeding them the ball, as long as we continue to trust them to make good plays on the field, then everything will work out.”

There were several players from Toronto who scored in the double-digits during this contest, including Scottie Barnes with 26 points, Pascal Siakam with 25 points, and R.J. Barnes with 23 points.
