German Arrested for Impersonating a Thai Police Officer

Mr. Conner was charged with impersonating a Royal Thai Police Officer and possession of child pornography and suspected sexual assault of minors under the age of 15 along with charges relating to his expired visa

 

PATTAYA – German National Pascal Conner has been arrested in Pattaya for seeking illegal sex with children and assuming the identity of a Thai police officer.

In the early hours of Saturday, Pattaya’s Tourist Police arrested a 32 year old German National accused of impersonating a Police Officer and of molesting children under the age of 15 after video clips and explicit pictures were found on his mobile phone and on memory cards found at his home.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Arun, the Inspector-in-Charge of Pattaya’s Tourist Police Division, held a press conference to announce the arrest of Mr. Pascal Conner. He was found to be in possession of Thai Police Badges, a set of handcuffs and business cards indicating he was available for translation services and could also teach German to Thai’s and other foreign nationals. It was also discovered he was staying in Thailand without a valid visa in his passport.

Mr. Conner was charged with impersonating a Royal Thai Police Officer and possession of child pornography and suspected sexual assault of minors under the age of 15 along with charges relating to his expired visa. He was later transferred to Pattaya Police Station for further processing.
