Elderly Briton Keith Lanyon Dies in Booze-Filled Home

Keith Lanyon was found dead on a chair in his home in Kanchanaburi’s Muang district amidst a large quantity of alcoholic beverages

 

KANCHANABURI – British Expat Keith Lanyon, 75, has been  found dead by his neighbor Chatchai Sawatthong at his residence in Mueang District of Kanchanaburi Province.

After noticing that Mr. Lanyon had not left the house for two days, Mr. Chatchai then paid the man a visit, and found him sitting breathless on a chair on the top floor of the townhouse.

Mr. Chatchai Swatthong, told reporters that Mr. Lanyon had resided in the area for approximately for 8 years and liked to drink and party. He was also a heavy drinker and smoker. In his house, police found numerous packages of alcoholic beverage and cigarettes.

Keith Lanyon’s body was taken to Phaholpolpayuhasaena hospital for a post mortem examination. Police have asked the British embassy to inform his relatives.
