CHIANG MAI – Pol Lt Yodmeekiat Manosao of Mae Ping police station has reported that a 67-year-old American woman has fallen to her death from the seventh floor of a condominium building in central Chiang Mai,
A security guard discovered the body of Deborah Lynn Huwen in the parking lot of Chiang Mai Riverside Condominium at around 5am on November 30, CityNews Reported.
Pol Lt Yodmeekiat Manosao said Police examined her room and found the door locked and none of her items were stolen and there was no signs of a struggle.
She had rented a room on the seventh floor and stayed there alone for about a month, Police also found documents stating that Ms.Huwen was undergoing treatment at Chiang Mai Ram Hospital, various types of medication belonging to the elderly woman were found in the room.
Copies of her fingerprints and footprints found on the balcony were collected for examination.
Pol Lt Yodmeekiat told the Bangkok Post‘s reporter investigators were working on the theory the woman may have had committed suicide due to illness, or she blacked out and fell over the balcony railing. The investigation continues.
