TRANG – Pol Col Eknarong Sawatdiganon, aÂ superintendent of Mueang Trang Provincial Police Station, has reported that American National Drake Wolf, 23, has been found dead in his hotel room, just one week after arriving in Thailand.
Pol Col Eknarong Sawatdiganon, said Drake Wolf, 23, was lying dead on his bed with his hands clasped behind his head and his legs crossed. Three empty bottles of anesthetic used for animals were discovered next to the bed, the Daily News reported.
Mr Drake had arrived in Thailand only one week earlier to start his work for an international car manufacturer in the region. Four days later, on July 30, he checked into the hotel, the manager reported.
Before coming to Thailand Wolf was charged with second-degree assault and misdemeanor possession of a switchblade knife and metal knuckles. in Owatonna Minnesota for assault in May of 2016
Meanwhile in Pattaya Police are investigating the bizarre death of a foreigner who was found hung inside aÂ burning house.
After firefighters had extinguished the fire they discovered the body ofÂ 56-year-oldÂ Andrew Green Thomas from England hanging inside the bedroom.
Police questioned the Thai wife and her 29-year-old daughter from an earlier marriage, who both live nearby. Mr Thomasâ€™ stepdaughter said that her mother had received a call from Mr Thomas threatening to kill himself. Thatâ€™s when she checked on him. The wife refused to go because she â€œgot regularly beaten upâ€ by Mr Thomas, she told police.
According to Farang Deaths, when she arrived, she continued, she discovered the fire and tried to put it out using only buckets of water from the swimming pool. But the blaze was too fierce for her to handle. She then called the police who sent out firefighters.
Police have taken photographic evidence and sent the body to the Police Hospital to confirm Mr Thomasâ€™ cause of death.
