PRACHIN BURI – Four people have been killed and six others injured when a passenger’s van skidded out of the road and rammed into a tree before catching fire in Prachin Buri province on Monday.

Initial report said that three passengers in the van were burned alive while the fourth was flung out of the vehicle by the force of the impact and killed. It was not known whether the driver was killed or not.

The identities of the dead victims and injured are not known as police were investigating the case of the fatal accident which took place on the Ban Sang-Prachin Buri road.

The van was travelling from Nakhon Nayok to Chon Buri when the fatal crash occurred, police said.
