Miss Thailand Returns to Philippines as Tourism Ambassador

PASAY – Miss Thailand 2016 Chalita Suansane on Saturday was back in the Philippine, assuming her new role as a tourism ambassador for Thailand.

The 22-year-old beauty queen arrived on Saturday, February 11, and shared her photo on Instagram at the airport with visibly less luggage.
Chalita made an appearance at the 24th Philippine Travel Agencies Association (PTAA) Travel Expo, held at the SMX Convention Center later in the afternoon in Pasay City.

With the help of an interpreter, Chalita noted that the Philippines is the first country she ever visited abroad.

Saying she felt so lucky and so happy to be in the Philippines to meet her my fans. “I love everyone she said”

The Thai beauty queen also reminisced the highlights of her stay all throughout the Miss Universe festivities, and pointed out that Ilocos Sur was the best part of their itinerary.

Chalita urged Filipinos to visit Thailand and experience its rich culture, long history, natural beauty, and amazing food.

During the pageant finals held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City last January 30, Chalita landed in the Top 6, together with Philippine bet Maxine Medina.

France’s Iris Mittenaere was crowned Miss Universe 2016.
