Four Soldiers Injured by Road Side Bomb in Pattani, Thailand

PATTANI – Four Army rangers were injured when they were attacked by homemade bomb during a routine patrol in Yarang district of Pattani this morning.

Police said a group of rangers from Ranger Unit 2216 was travelling in a pickup truck on a village road in Yarang district when a roadside bomb was detonated.

Four were injured and were rushed to Yarang district hospital.

Explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) police were alerted and arrived to clear the area which was closed to traffic as there might be more bombs hidden  to hurt authorities. – Thai PBS
