CHIANG RAI – The Mayor of Chiang Rai, Wanchai Chongsuthamanee has held a press conference to invite tourists to its famous flora festival.

Mr. Wanchai Chongsuthamanee, said in the press conference that Chiang Rai’s 10th flower festival would be held between December 20 to January 20 next year.

In the event, tourists can enjoy both foreign and local flowers and plants. The highlights of the event include flower tunnel,and flora art as well as traditional art performances by ethnic minorities in the province.

The city has been prepared for the event for several months and Wanchai expressed his confidence that it would be bigger and better than ever.

With its picturesque mountianous terrain, mild weather,and culture richness, Chiang Rai is gearing up to be one the tourism centers in northern Thailand.
