Chiang Rai United Loses 3-1 against Muangthong United


CHIANG RAI – Yesterday Chiang Rai United lost 3-1 against Muangthong United,It was one of the biggest match that Chiang Rai United has had in terms of keep staying in the Thai Premier League .

Muang Thong took full advantage and went two goals ahead thanks to strikes from Piyapol Bantao and Teerasil Dangda.

Henk Wisman’s side were pegged back by Leonardo Ferreira Da Silva’s goal in the 66th minute before Jakkraphan Pornsai wrapped things up.

Chiang Rai supporters were upset with the results, however, stadium attendance for the game was up over 10,000 to 11240.

Chiang Rai United is in 16th place in the Thai Premier League rankings with, two win, nine draw and 10 lose.
