BlackBerry PlayBook Coming to AIS, TrueMove, Jay Mart and TG Fone July 22

Research In Motion (RIM) announced their BlackBerry PlayBook tablet will be launched in Thailand on July 22, 2011. This announcement comes after the 30 day 16 country launch campaign the company started more than 30 days ago.

The 7-inch tablet will be offered at top national retailers AIS, TrueMove, Jay Mart and TG Fone. Rim will be releasing the tablet in three storage capacities with Wi-Fi only connectivity. For a 16 GB model buyers will need Bt16,990, for 32 GB’s Bt18,990, and 64 GB’s Bt21,990.

The QNX-based operating system that Bolduc is referring to is RIM’s BlackBerry Tablet OS. Recently RIM released their third update to the ever-growing OS and they show no sign of slowing the updates down. The Tablet OS is a brand new venture for RIM, one they started on last year but entered the market with a physical product this earlier this year.

The PlayBook is a device that offers very nice hardware specifications and support for the major browsing technology that Apple ditched for the iPad, Adobe Flash. The PlayBook has Adobe Flash and more, just check out the tablets features list below:
