47 Year-Old Japanese Tutor Found Hung in Bangkok Apartment
BANGKOK – Police from the Lat Krabang Police Station were called to an apartment in Soi Lat Krabang 22 after Jayama Tetsuji, 47, a Japanese language tutor was found hanging in his apartment in Bangkokâ€™s Lat Krabang district at around 10:30 this morning.
According toÂ Pol Col Ruetigrai,Â a tie bound around his neck and attached to the window grille, Mr Jayama was wearing a white t-shirt and black shorts.
Mr Jayama had been teaching Japanese at a language school inside of The Paseo Mall on Lat Krabang Rd.
Ms. RadtanaÂ Timwad of the School said when Mr Jayama did not show up for the lesson on Saturday, and she was unable to contact him, she made her way to his apartment and eventually found he had hung himself.
Police reported that they didn’t find any evidence of foul play and that the death was probably that of an apparent suicide.
Rescue workers transported Mr Jayamaâ€™s body to the forensic institute in Bangkok for examination, authorities have contacted the Japanese Embassy.
