Chiang Rai United Wins Over Army United 2-1



Chiang Rai United wins 2-1 in their home stadium. Chiang Rai United promised to their supporters to stay in Thai Premier League for the next season.

Army United, Aron Da Silva, scored in the 17 minutes, his left footed shoot deflected by a Chiang Rai defender. In the 72 minutes, Chiang Rai equalized 1-1 from a corner kick. Choklap Nilsang put it in from midfielder Jerry’s curved kick. Chiang Rai led the game 2-1 in 84 minutes scored by Nurul Sriyankem.

Chiang Rai United is still ranked in the bottom of TPL table. The club will catch up to the other teams in remaining five games, which is included the game canceled in the middle of the game against Samut Songkram. They still have a hope to stay in TPL.
